Weyron massage chairs are designed to help draining the lymphatic system by running continuous long strokes from waist to neck and also by squeezing with the airbags large parts of the body like shoulders, hands, calves, feet, pelvis and even the scalp and the eyes . This practice can stimulate the opening of the initial lymphatic and encourage an increase in lymph flow by as much as 20 times.
As deep pressure on the initial lymph is not conducive to good flow, we have carefully ensured that the pressure delivered is at the most beneficial and optimal level. The design of the chair ensures that the lymph is moved into the pre-collector which is a larger vessel for the lymph, and then moved onto the collectors, which are larger again.
Why is lymphatic drainage needed?
Once the lymph is flowing well with the help of the massage, the effects of the immune system are increased and harmful substances are removed. Another benefit of lymph flow increase means a greater production of lymphocytes which also help the immune function.
Where does the lymphatic system drain to?
As lymph is drained, it’s passed through the lymph vessels to the lymph nodes. Lymph nodes range in size from the head of a pin to the size of an olive. Between 400 and 700 lymph nodes are in the body, with half of them in the stomach and many in the neck.
Benefits of lymphatic drainage
Often, having a lymph massage can help to increase energy and assist the immune system to become more efficient. Another benefit of performing lymphatic drainage massage is the positive effect it has on sports or other injuries. Once the initial inflammatory stage has passed, the tissue of the injury will benefit by the clearance of debris and the reduction of minor swelling. It will help to keep the tissue healthy so that the skin and muscle can heal.
Lymphatic drainage can also help with improving scars as circulation is improved and so is immunity. This helps with the scarring process. However, please note that the point of the lymphatic massage is to push the lymph away from the scar. We recommend that you do not use the Weyron massage chair when your scar is newly forming, so that there is a chance of ripping the tissue.
